Heavy rains have been forecast by the Meteorological Department on the 12th and 13th of June in Saurashtra and Kutch in the state. There is a possibility that there will be rainfall with winds at speeds of 100 km.

 Low pressure system created in the Arabian Sea

 Low pressure system in the Arabian Sea has transformed into depression.  So that it will grow further towards north-north west.  After this the authorities have also instructed the fishermen not to sail.  Depression is 930 kilometers away from Veraval to the south east.

 Alert on all ports of the state

 Alert has been announced on all the ports of the state.  Jamnagar, Porbandar  A number of signals have been installed on ports including Una, Jafrabad and Veraval.  Besides, fishermen have been advised not to sail the sea.  Rainfall in the state will start from June 12.  On June 13, there will be heavy rain in areas of Saurashtra, including Amreli, Bhavnagar, Girsomnath, Junagadh and Kutch.

 A number of signals have been installed on the Jafrabad port of Amreli.  The Jafrabad Fisheries Department has issued a number of signals.  The Meteorological Department has predicted the cyclone with winds in the ocean.  Most of the boats have reached Jafrabad port after taking the notice.  Meteorological officer Jayant Sarkar said that we are constantly in touch with the state government.
